The brilliance of Nikola Jokić has firmly been on display throughout this year’s NBA playoffs. With the NBA Finals tipping off and the Nuggets in pursuit of their first title, the two-time MVP will be charged with putting together another round of spectacular performances that will surely generate plenty of conversation about his game
While many consider Jokić’s style of play as one that is truly unorthodox, some—like NBA legend Bill Walton—believe the Joker’s skillset is like one of nature’s most essential elements.

Peyton, Cooper and Eli Manning all bear a resemblance to one another. Although they each have their distinct features, the trio of football royalty comes from the Archie and Olivia Manning tree.
They look like Mannings.

The lines are blurred even further after a few drinks.
David “Skywalker” Thompson scored 42 points and teammate Dan Issel added 30 with 20 rebounds for Denver and coach Larry Brown.
But Julius “Dr. J.” Erving and the New York Nets were too much in the last ABA game ever played.

The Nets beat the Nuggets, 112-106, on May 13, 1976, at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y., for the American Basketball Association title.
There’s no question this is an important season in New York Jets franchise history. After 20 years of being an afterthought to the New England Patriots in the AFC East, the Jets are poised for a big season. And, according to former NFL QB Ryan Leaf, if they don’t meet expectations, they could let head coach Robert Saleh go.
“[Robert Saleh] may be coaching for [his] job this year,” Leaf said on The Straight Line. “There’s everything that [GM] Joe Douglas laid at [his] feet.
The Heat will be without guard Tyler Herro when they tip off Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Nuggets on Thursday night, but it may not be long until Miami has the key contributor back in the rotation.
After Heat coach Erik Spoelstra ruled Herro out for Game 1 on Wednesday, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that there’s a “possibility” the 23-year-old could return as soon as Game 2 on Sunday night.
Kirk Herbstreit is generally known for his avuncular demeanor as a host on ESPN’s popular College GameDay football show. If you want to avoid his more angry side, though, just watch what you say about his beloved Reds.
Herbstreit got into a war of words this week with Cincinnati beat writer C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic, and after an initial back-and-forth, the Twitter beef refused to go away.
Angel Reese has quickly become one of the biggest, if not the biggest name in women’s basketball. The former five-star forward helped lead LSU to a national championship in her first year with the program and did so in boisterous fashion.
As the clock wound down on a blowout win over Iowa, Reese turned to Caitlin Clark and hit her with John Cena’s famous “you can’t see me” hand gesture. It was vicious.

Scheffler, the number one ranked player in the world, got off to a tough start at Jack’s Place, but recent history shows he will bounce back.
Scottie Scheffler has had a terrific season: he has a pair of victories, two top-10 finishes in majors, and now is the number-one ranked player in the world.
College football will look a bit different when Week 0 comes around in late August. New rules have been approved aimed at shortening games and the latest wave of conference realignment will take effect this year with four new faces in the Big 12 and more movement on the horizon.
What remains the same are the sport’s top teams. Georgia has the best odds to win the College Football Playoff, followed by Alabama and Ohio State — those three programs have combined to win six of nine championships in the CFP era.
Oklahoma’s lineup is stacked. The Sooners pitch, field and win like no other.
