C.J. Stroud’s time taking second team reps at QB for the Texans didn’t last long.
The Texans took the former Ohio State star second overall in the 2022 NFL Draft, and he started off taking second team reps behind QB Davis Mills.
Mills has been the starting QB of the Texans the past two seasons, but it appears his job might already be gone by the start of June.

Alabama DB Tony Mitchell’s suspension has apparently come to an end.
The freshman defensive back was suspended by head coach Nick Saban after he was arrested on drug charges in Florida.
Mitchell was sentenced to three years probation and 100 hours of community service after pleading no contest to felony possession of marijuana. The young Alabama player was originally charged in March with possession of marijuana with the intent to sell and/or deliver after he allegedly attempted to evade police while driving 140 miles per hour.
Another person in the car was accused of having a weapon.

After lots of debate and hype, the SEC refused to switch to a nine-game conference schedule. Instead, the SEC will stick with just eight conference games, eliminate divisions once Oklahoma and Texas join, require a P5 non-conference opponent and schedules will attempt to protect traditional rivalries.
The SEC has taken serious heat for years for refusing to play more P5 opponents, and the conference just doesn’t have any interest in changing.
The SEC won’t switch to a nine-game conference schedule.

Nikola Jokić continued his historic postseason on Monday with a dominant NBA Finals debut in the Nuggets’ 104–93 Game 1 win over the Heat. And, apparently, the impressive performance was enough to earn the two-time MVP a special stamp of approval from the legendary Shaquille O’Neal.
The Nuggets star engaged in few memorably fun exchanges with the Hall of Fame center during the NBA TV post-game show following a victory where he earned his ninth-playoff triple-double double.
