1. Victor Wembanyama will get drafted by the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night with the first pick.
With the draft in New York City, the 7’3″ phenom took in Tuesday’s Yankees game and threw out the first pitch. 
You may have seen Wembanyama get a lot of play on social media after he posted this photo on Instagram showing what a baseball looked like in his ridiculously large hands.

Wembanyama, however, did not post any video of his first pitch.

David, I’d say Drake Maye would be the first pick in a bunch of draft classes and is seen as very worthy of going in that spot. So as of right now, if you were a team in dire need of a franchise quarterback and were at the bottom of the standings five months from now, you’d probably be a little disappointed winding up with the second pick instead of the first pick.

The United States Women’s National Soccer team revealed its roster ahead of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, which is set to begin next month in New Zealand and Australia. 
Veteran Kelley O’Hara was one of three players revealed as part of the World Cup roster early on Wednesday, joining first-time women’s national team members Lynn Williams and Kristie Mewis.

ESPN’s Kendrick Perkins was recording a TV hit with SportsCenter on Tuesday, discussing Draymond Green’s decision to opt-out of his $27.6 million player option to enter free agency, when things took a bizarre turn.
During the discussion, Perkins spoke about the decisions that new general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. needed to make with the roster, and how those decisions could impact whether or not Green returned to the Warriors.

It’s seemingly a foregone conclusion that French sensation Victor Wembanyama will be the Spurs’ selection with the No. 1 pick in Thursday’s NBA draft.
That said, one sports bettor is taking things to the extreme, placing a massive bet at ridiculous odds that Wembanyama will indeed come off the board first. Per The Action Network, the bettor put $60,000 on Wembanyama to go first overall at -20000 odds on Draftkings Sportsbook. If it wins, the bet will pay out just $300.
On one hand, there really seems to be no drama with the Spurs’ selection.

Aaron Rodgers is still all about that ayahuasca life. Now the Jets’ quarterback is continuing his uncanny spiral into Brett Favre-dom, by signing up to hawk experimental medicine at a conference.
Rodgers will be joining scientific luminaries Jaden Smith (son of Will Smith) and former Texas governor Rick Perry to extol the virtues of ayahuasca at the “Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies,” in Colorado.
