ESPN and parent company Disney tried to purchase Steele’s silence. The company tried to bury the double standard that saw Steele punished for violating its supposed “ban on politics,” which her liberal colleagues regularly disobey.

Joran Mailata can add wedding singer to his list of many talents after a video of him from his nuptials got some attention over the weekend. The Eagles offensive tackle got married, and he took the liberty of serenading his wife while she was dancing at the reception. 
The 26-year-old’s performance of Stevie Wonder’s 1976 hit “Isn’t She Lovely” was nothing short of beautiful. Donning a gray suit and assisted by an entire band, Mailata can be seen singing to his wife as she dances with an older man—presumably her father.

The Timberwolves and Anthony Edwards agreed on a five-year designated rookie maximum deal on Monday, which could be worth around $260 million, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported. His agents from WME Bill Duffy and Joe Branch reported the news first.
The 21-year-old will be entering his fourth season with the Timberwolves. He suffered a sprained ankle during a game in March but was able to finish out his season with Minnesota and play in the first-round series of the playoffs vs. the Nuggets.

The 76ers might find themselves in the midst of numerous trade talks over the coming weeks, specifically involving James Harden. But there’s one player that Philadelphia apparently will not include in any trade discussions, no matter what, and that’s guard Tyrese Maxey.
