Iowa State football coach Matt Campbell reportedly can walk from the Cyclones without paying a penny if the program raises admission standards.
Campbell’s current contract goes through the 2028 season and he makes $4 million a year in base salary, according to USA Today.
If he chooses to leave the program, Campbell would owe $4 million for breaking the deal. However, there’s one very easy way he could walk away without paying a penny.

Less than an hour before Tuesday night’s game between the White Sox and Rangers at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago, four fans were injured in an apparent hit-and-run collision, with two left in critical condition.
One of the pedestrians who was struck clung to the car as it sped away, according to the Associated Press. The vehicle was eventually stopped by an ambulance, while the person clinging to the car was one of the two left in critical condition.
The White Sox released a statement addressing the incident shortly after the game began.

Stephen F. Austin assistant women’s bowling coach Steve Lemke has resigned from his position after the school discovered he was having an affair with a player on the team.
Lemke—who is married to the team’s head coach, Amber Lemke—resigned on April 10 rather than be fired.
