Shannon Sharpe’s exit from Fox Sports 1’s Undisputed was rumored for weeks, and the Pro Football Hall of Famer made it official Tuesday, saying goodbye to the show after seven years. Although there was widespread speculation that Sharpe and co-host Skip Bayless butted heads toward the end of their tenure together, Sharpe thanked Bayless on his way out for giving him the opportunity to work on the show.
While Sharpe got emotional on his last day, Bayless saved his thoughts for his podcast.

They are — quite literally — the Lone Rangers.
While other MLB teams drape their stadiums in the rainbow flag each June, the Rangers stick with the one-star, Texas banner. They are the only team in baseball that doesn’t host an LGBTQ Pride Night.
Baseball’s Pride tradition began with the Chicago Cubs back in 2001. And since then, 28 other teams followed suit.

The Rangers actually attempted to host an informal Pride Night in 2003. Without officially marketing the event, they invited several LGBT groups to the stadium.

The NBA’s all-time leading bench scorer, Lou Williams, announced Sunday that he is retiring from the league after a 17-year career.
The news was delivered in a YouTube video, which features Williams’s daughter writing a letter describing his career highlights, including the highs and the lows. 
“You’ve chosen to announce your farewell, but still fulfilling your legacy within us,” his daughter said in the video. “You gave it all that you could give. You left nothing more to unturn. And I’m truly proud of you, dad.

Padres starter Blake Snell has pitched much better this season than his 3-6 record might indicate, recording a 3.48 ERA and only allowing more than three eared runs twice in 14 starts. On Saturday, however, Snell reached another level, and it wasn’t just because he was facing his former team.
Snell struck out every starter in the Rays’ lineup at least once, matching his accomplishment from June 11 against the Rockies.

Erica Herman is not going down without a fight.
Tiger Woods’ ex-girlfriend filed an appeal Friday to the Fourth District Court of Appeal in Florida in an attempt to get a non-disclosure agreement lifted, according to USA Today.
This filing comes after a Florida judge rejected her case against the 15-time Major winner twice.
Herman accused Woods of sexual harassment in a court filing in March and sued both the golfer and the trust that owns his $54 million mansion in Florida. She is seeking $30 million from the trust amid the unspecified allegations of sexual harassment.
