Despite the Suns’ tying up their Western Conference semifinal playoff series, 2–2, against the Nuggets on Sunday night, the game’s outcome wasn’t the biggest topic of conversation Monday morning. Instead, the spotlight is on the viral incident where Denver star center Nikola Jokić was involved in an altercation with Phoenix owner Mat Ishbia, leading to a technical foul on Jokić.
Jokić could be facing further consequences, but ESPN’s Brian Windhorst thinks it’s “unlikely” the two-time MVP will be suspended for Game 5.

Irsay’s beef with Snyder makes this interesting.
Two of Jim Irsay’s great passions converged over the weekend: Loving Andrew Luck and hating Dan Snyder. News emerged over the weekend that the Commanders had been in contact with the retired quarterback in 2022, seeing if he’d be willing to return to football.
Irsay saw these stories as well.
If any NFL Team, attempted to contact Andrew Luck (or any associate of him)… to play for their Franchise – it would be a clear Violation of the League’s Tampering Policy.
Denny Hamlin wrecked Kyle Larson for the win and Kyle Busch called everyone a–holes, and those are both waaaaaaay down on my NASCAR Monday to-do list.
I reckon that’s what happens when Ross Chastain drops his balls and connects on a pit-road haymaker that opened Pandora’s beautiful box.
And you know what? It’s about damn time Ross the Boss fought back. Did I think Noah Gragson would be the one to bring it out of him? No.
Fifteen years ago, Steph Curry marveled that LeBron James came to watch him play in college. Now, they’re battling each other for NBA titles.
Shortly after two-time reigning Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen won his second consecutive Miami Grand Prix on Sunday, he was met with a smattering of boos from the crowd.
The Red Bull driver claimed his third win in his last five starts despite starting in ninth place on the starting grid.
Some fans, however, apparently aren’t fans of Verstappen—presumably because he’s dominating the circuit. He had the perfect response to those fans.
“This is something for me which is absolutely fine as long as I stand on the top.
With less than a month before the end of the season and a champion yet to be named, the intensity has only heightened in the Premier League race to the finish line.
The title chase remains neck and neck, while the pursuit of a top-four berth and a coveted spot in next year’s Champions League is wide open.
Here’s how the weekend results in the Premier League shook up the table, with a look ahead at the remaining weeks of the season:
The title chase
For once, there was no shakeup atop the standings, nor was there any drama or doubt in whether there would be another changing of the guard.
Good morning, I’m Dan Gartland. Yesterday afternoon, I thought I’d be writing about James Harden’s big game to lead the Sixers over the Celtics. But then Nikola Jokić and Matt Ishbia seized control of the news cycle.

Karl-Anthony Towns decided to crash at John Calipari’s house without his former college coach even knowing. To say Calipari was surprised to see the seven-footer when he woke up would be an understatement.
Calipari has his wife, Ellen, to thank for the surprise guest. And she got quite the laugh out of the whole situation.
Towns and his girlfriend were in Lexington for a wedding of a member of the Kentucky basketball program which the Caliparis attended as well. Apparently, Towns didn’t feel the need to book a hotel room for the weekend and asked Mrs.
Bulls on parade.
An attempt at the weirdest cross-promotion in sports went awry over the weekend when a live bull on the sideline of a rugby game in France broke free of its handler, stampeding onto the field and causing players to run for their lives.
