Oregon will be throwing it back to 1994 with its jersey choice for the Ducks’ upcoming clash against Washington State.
The Ducks announced on Wednesday that the football team will be donning its iconic throwback uniforms from the ‘94 season during Saturday’s tilt.
The old school green and yellow uniforms are best remembered for the game-winning 97-yard interception return by Kenny Wheaton against Washington in ‘94.

This point was illustrated this Wednesday as an image of the Conference-USA showdown between Florida International University and Sam Houston floated around social media due to the stadium appearing virtually empty.
It is Sam Houston’s first year in the NCAA Division I FBS, and the Bearkats have yet to win a game in its new conference, going 0–6 to start the 2023 season. Bearkats fans didn’t seem to make much of an effort to strut down to Elliott T.
On Tuesday, ESPN football scholar Stephen A. Smith suggested that Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa only throws 2-yard passes. The Internet did not care for his assertion. On Wednesday, a brave reporter decided to subtly mention those comments to Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel, albeit without naming him.
“There are some folks who believe that many quarterbacks in this scheme — with you as the coach and with Tyreek [Hill] and Jaylen [Waddle] — would excel, would flourish [like Tua is],” the reporter says.

Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy spoke on the pressure Prescott faces as the team’s starting quarterback, and admitted how much he admires how the 30-year-old handles it all.
Despite the Clippers and 76ers continuing to negotiate a trade for James Harden, a report from The Athletic indicated their talks had reached something of a standstill.
According to Sam Amick, the two parties have been unable to reach an agreement, with the potential inclusion of Terance Mann in the deal being a sticking point in their negotiations.

What started as an ad campaign for the SEC in 2016 has become an iconic phrase in the college sports lexicon: It just means more. The four words have become a rallying cry for SEC football and the narrative that surrounds it: That nothing in college sports can top the teams, players and atmospheres produced on Saturdays in the fall.
The Big 12 may not have the catchphrase down yet, but its men’s basketball conference under commissioner Brett Yormark is developing a similar feel.
