Steve Smith blew a fuse.
The NFL Network analyst and ex-Panthers wideout had a special rant reserved for Broncos wideout Jerry Jeudy.
Attending Thursday’s matchup between the Chiefs and Broncos, Smith had a testy exchange with Jeudy. According to Smith, Jeudy walked by Smith off-camera and said, “[N-word], I don’t mess with you.”
Smith was passionate and delivered a complete torching of Jeudy during the NFL Network’s live pre-game show. Co-host Mike Garafolo looked uncomfortable as the heat turned up in Smith’s speech.
Smith reduced Jeudy to shreds.

For the third time this season, Taylor Swift is in a luxury box at the Kansas City Chiefs game to watch rumored romantic fling Travis Kelce. The Chiefs and Denver Broncos are squaring off on Thursday Night Football in KC, and Swift is once sitting next to Kelce’s mother, Donna, to watch the game.
NFL fans are used to seeing Swift plastered all over the broadcast at the games she attends.

On Monday night, in the moments after Atlanta doubled Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper off first base to win Game 2 of the National League Division Series, reporters entered the Atlanta clubhouse. Amid the post-win jubilation, shortstop Orlando Arcia loudly and repeatedly yelled, “Attaboy, Harper!” and cackled. Fox Sports’s Jake Mintz first reported the scene; Washington Post writer Chelsea Janes also reported the comment, but did not identify who made it.
Atlanta players, after being blown out in Game 3, contended that Arcia’s taunt had been off the record.

NFL analyst Steve Smith Sr. had a lot to say about Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy ahead of Thursday Night Football in Week 6. 
Smith, who was live on-air for the NFL Network alongside Mike Garafolo, shared that he had attempted to apologize to Jeudy over some previous comments he made on his podcast which were critical of the 24-year-old receiver.
After explaining that his attempted apology was rebuffed by Jeudy, Smith broke into a fiery rant, during which he ripped into Denver’s wide out.

Although this year’s college basketball season does not officially start until November, it has not stopped fans of Iowa women’s basketball from buying tickets to support the Hawkeyes in their upcoming exhibition on Sunday against DePaul.
The Hawkeyes, the 2022 women’s college basketball championship runner-up, say they have sold more than 52,000 tickets ahead of their matchup against the Blue Demons on Sunday at Kinnick Stadium, the site for the program’s home football games in the fall. Typically, Iowa plays its home games at the 15,400-seat Carver-Hawkeye Arena during the season.
