Colorado football coach Deion Sanders told reporters on Tuesday that standout Travis Hunter will not play in the Buffaloes’ game on Saturday against Arizona State.
Hunter will miss his third consecutive game following an injury he suffered from a gruesome hit in the first quarter of Colorado’s matchup against Colorado State on Sept. 16. When the Buffaloes two-way star suffered the injury, it was expected that he would miss the next three games.
Colorado (3–2) sits less than two weeks away from its bye week.

It’s no secret that the NBA’s relationship with China runs deep.
Now, the league is facing what could be one of the most high-profile requests to curb some of its ties with the communist regime.
According to ESPN, a bipartisan committee has sent a letter to the league. In it, the Congressional-Executive Commission on China asked it to ban the use and sale of apparel made by forced labor.
Furthermore, they requested that NBA Commissioner Adam Silver “learn about the sad reality of genocide.”
The commission is comprised of members of Congress as well as White House appointees.

Jets legend Joe Namath is reconsidering his recent criticism of the team’s current quarterback.
Namath had described Zach Wilson’s performances against the Cowboys and Patriots as “awful” and “disgusting,” but he walked back those descriptions during a Monday appearance on “The Michael Kay Show.”
Wilson, the No. 2 pick in the 2021 NFL draft, played arguably the best game of his career Sunday night in a narrow loss to the Chiefs. And Namath noticed.

The Commanders are in a bit of a slump heading into their first prime time appearance of the season. After Sunday’s overtime loss, Washington has now dropped back-to-back games following a 2–0 start.
A two-game skid is nothing to the Bears, though, who have dropped 14 in a row heading into Thursday Night Football and are a few weeks away from the one-year anniversary of their last win.
Given the dire straits in Chicago, the Commanders are 6.5-point home favorites over the Bears at FedEx Field on Thursday night. The total is set at 44.5 points, according to SI Sportsbook.

A Michigan hockey player, Johnny Druskinis, has been taken off the team ahead of the 2023–24 season after it was discovered that he, along with another student, allegedly covered the university’s Jewish Resource Center with swastikas and homophobic slurs.
Upon his removal from the team, a Michigan spokesperson did not tell the Detroit Free Press the exact reason why the sophomore defenseman is no longer with the team.
“Johnny Druskinis is no longer on the Michigan Hockey roster, following a violation of team rules,” the spokesperson said.
