If there’s one thing you can say about New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh, it’s that he’s unquestionably a “football guy.” Ahead of the team’s Week 1 matchup on Monday Night Football against the Buffalo Bills, Saleh ran the stairs of MetLife Stadium.
He played football in college, but did not advance beyond. He started coaching shortly after his playing career ended. But that drive to be a football player apparently never left. Players usually respond well to coaches who put in the physical work, so Saleh’s approach endears him to his players.

Michigan State football coach Mel Tucker released a statement on Monday regarding the sexual harassment investigation the school started over the weekend.
The complaint was made by Brenda Tracy, a sexual assault survivor who frequently works with sports teams on training related to sexual violence.
According to Kenny Jacoby of USA Today, Tracy alleged Tucker masturbated while making lewd comments about her during a phone call on April 28, 2022.

Beginning at 11 a.m. ET, the PSI will focus this hearing on the business deals that the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) has with American companies.

Chris Jones’s holdout from the Chiefs is set to end this week after the two sides reportedly agreed to a new one-year deal, according to SI’s Albert Breer. 
Jones, who still had one year left on his deal, did not tack on any new years to his deal. Instead, the 29-year-old will receive various incentives which will enable him to earn “considerably more money” in 2023, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Jones had a base salary of $19.5 million for this season under his previous deal and was due to his unrestricted free agency in ‘24.
