The Steelers got back in the win column Thursday night against the Titans behind a resurgent running game.
Pittsburgh put up 166 yards on the ground against Tennessee, which was more than the 160 that Kenny Pickett threw for through the air. That balanced offensive attack was enough to get the best of Will Levis in his second career start.
Gilberto Manzano wrote about the ups and downs of the rookie’s performance, saying: “Levis saw frequent pressure in the 20–16 loss against the Steelers, but he made many impressive plays during Thursday Night Football.

1. I told you earlier this week that the over/under on Saturday’s Iowa-Northwestern game opened at 29.5 points. It was the lowest over/under in FBS history.
The total crept up to 30.5 as the week went on, but 30.5 tells you all you need to know about the two offenses. Iowa’s offense is particularly pathetic.
The Hawkeyes are last in the country in total yards per game, at 232.4. They’re also near the bottom of points per game, at 17.7.
Iowa’s offensive ineptitude is so dire that the family of Dr. B. Eleanor Anstey is asking for help.
Start your vocal warm ups because you’re going to be screaming a lot more ‘WOOOOOOO’s’ these days as wrestling legend Ric Flair is heading back to the squared circle.
The 74-year-old wrestling icon had originally surprised wrestling fans last week during a surprise return to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in a bid to help his longtime friend Sting for his upcoming final match.
In an NFC East matchup packed with star power, we break down the biggest questions ahead of Sunday’s game.

Victor Wembanyama’s first NBA statement game was mind-blowing in every way
Victor Wembanyama’s name was already being mentioned among legends when he entered the NBA Draft. Was Wembaymama, fresh off an MVP season in the top pro league in France at 19 years old, the greatest prospect in league history? To even ponder the question was to bring up LeBron, Kareem, Shaq, Wilt, Magic, etc.; the titans who grew the game off the backs of their miraculous talent.
Wembanyama was special, anyone with a pulse could see that.
The Michigan football program remains in hot water as the NCAA investigates the Wolverines in regard to an alleged sign-stealing scheme. As more information comes out, observers are forming their own opinions about how bad the scandal is and how hard the NCAA should punish Michigan.
Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt is the latest to weigh in, and the former Colorado quarterback believes much of the criticism centered at Michigan is overblown.
“The level of anger has a direct relationship with the success Michigan has had over the last two+ seasons,” Klatt wrote on social media.
Good morning, I’m Dan Gartland. I have a feeling I’ll be writing about Victor Wembanyama in this space on a fairly regular basis.

He’s already living up to the hype
It took only five games for Victor Wembanyama to truly announce his arrival in the NBA.
Iowa announced earlier this week that offensive coordinator Brian Ferentz would not return for the 2024 season.
Ferentz, the son of longtime Hawkeyes head coach Kirk Ferentz, has faced regular criticism and scrutiny for the ineffectiveness of Iowa’s offense. Last year, the team averaged 17.7 points per game. That poor scoring output consistently wasted excellent performances by Iowa’s defense.
Before this season, Ferentz agreed to a revised one-year contract that reduced his salary by $50,000 and included mandates for the Hawkeyes to win seven games and average 25 points per game.
Dak Prescott’s mom had a final request of her youngest son — transform the pain of her loss into the backbone of his motivation. The Cowboys QB has made good on that promise.
Because of a confluence of injuries and other reasons, Sunday will mark only the second NFL game featuring both Cowboys QB Dak Prescott and Eagles QB Jalen Hurts: “A lot of excitement.
