For the second straight week, Alpine found themselves out of the points
After the first two races of the 2023 Formula 1 season, it looked like Alpine had something for the rest of the field to contend with. Pierre Gasly finished ninth in the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix, and the came away with double points in Jeddah, as Gasly finished P9 and teammate Esteban Ocon finished P8 in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
Since then, it has been nothing but heartbreak for the Alpine duo.

On Nov. 25, 2022, University of Minnesota centerman Logan Cooley had the puck on his stick and plenty of space behind his opponent’s net. As he skated back above the goal line, his path to the net was cut off by a defenseman, so he executed a 180-degree turn on a dime and skated back into the still-vacant ice behind the net with the puck on his forehand.
“Any time I’m behind the net and have a little space, I’m kind of thinking about it,” says Cooley, who was picked third in last year’s NHL draft by the Coyotes.
The Celtics seemed to have two big advantages going into Monday night’s opening game of their second-round series with the 76ers: They were at home and, more importantly, Joel Embiid was out with a knee injury.
Neither of those things seemed to matter to James Harden and Co., though, as Philadelphia stayed close throughout and then beat Boston on a late three-pointer by Harden, who finished with a game-high 45 points.
LeBron James might not be doing a bunch of reading prior to games after all.
For years, LeBron James has occasionally been spotted with a book and claimed to indulge himself in some novels prior to getting on the court.
It was always ridiculous for far too many reasons to count, but none more so than the fact it always looked like he was only a few pages in. As far as I can tell, at no point was he spotted with a book 95% done.

Dwyane Wade and his wife Gabrielle Union were met with boos and heckling as they left Madison Square Garden after watching the Miami Heat take down the New York Knicks on Sunday. One person, in particular, shouted about Wade’s transgender child, Zaya, who is a biological male.
As Wade and Union were getting into their car, a person began shouting “why did you mutilate your son?”

The 2023 NFL Draft is in the books, and we now have a clearer picture of how all 32 rosters are going to look heading into the summer months. That means it’s time for fantasy fans to dig deep into the depth charts and start getting their rankings ready for the upcoming best-ball league and redraft madness that’s around the corner.
We’ve already examined the biggest winners and losers among the rookies, so let’s take a look at how the draft will affect incumbent veterans who might or might not have competition heading into the season.

Let’s rank the best players in the Warriors-Lakers series.
The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers are set for a second round series in the 2023 NBA Playoffs that does not feels like a typical No. 6 seed vs. No. 7 seed matchup. These are the league’s two most glamorous franchises, with Hall of Fame players on both sides and a deep history between the superstars.
Bryce Young won big, and C.J. Stroud is in trouble when it comes to their new home.
Anyone will tell you that where you go is far more important than how high you’re picked when it comes to being a rookie quarterback. Time and time again we’ve seen tremendous talent ruined by landing in the wrong place, while less-heralded prospects have thrived because of system and fit.
Much of this comes down to expectation entering the NFL, paired with the framework in place to ensure that rookie succeeds.
A baseball signed by former U.S. President John F. Kennedy went up for auction last week and hit a selling price that soared over $150,000.
Sports memorabilia is enjoying a hot streak in the past year. Records for highest-selling (insert item here) are breaking, and JFK’s autographed baseball is the latest.
According to TMZ Sports, SCP Auctions sold a baseball signed by Kennedy. The ball came from his trip to Venezuela in 1961, which sold for $166,818 after 19 placed bids.
Kennedy and the First Lady visited Venezuela as part of an initiative between the U.S. and Latin America.
The 2023 draft has come and gone, which means a new opportunity to look at rosters from a fresh perspective. More than anything, I feel like we can judge teams in clearer-cut terms this time of year, given how few of them employ nebulous drafting strategies that don’t look to fill immediate needs.
All of these teams drafted for need in the first two rounds. Every last one. And a few of them (see: my Colts movement) saw a massive prospective improvement in terms of their 2023 ceiling.
