The Albany Empire, the arena football team in which Antonio Brown is a 95% owner, seems to be in complete shambles after players weren’t paid last week. The missed payments then led to a misdemeanor incident, the coach leaving, as well as a number of players.
According to the Albany Times-Union, players and coaches are supposed to be paid every Friday. The team was last paid on April 21 and played a game against the Carolina Cobras this past Sunday despite not being paid on April 28, two days prior to the game.

The 2023 NFL draft is over. After three days in Kansas City, 259 players were picked before teams started frantically adding undrafted free agents to their 90-man rosters.
Only days removed from the draft, we’ve assigned grades and rankings to teams’ classes. For some, it’s a good window into the week that was—a snapshot, if you will. For others, it’s an article to bookmark so that in three years, when one of the observations (hopefully, only one) is proved hilariously wrong, the jeering can begin.

A ludicrous take about Florida QB Graham Mertz and Joe Burrow has resurfaced and is going viral online.
Mertz left the Wisconsin Badgers after several disappointing and frustrating seasons. The team needed a reset after hiring Luke Fickell and the same was true for the former star QB recruit.
He came to Madison as Wisconsin’s most-hyped QB recruit in history. The Kansas native ended his career with the Badgers with 38 passing touchdowns and 26 interceptions.

The Suns ruled Chris Paul out for the remainder of Monday’s Game 2 against the Nuggets after the star guard sustained a groin injury in the second half.
With the Suns up, 59–51, with five minutes left in the third quarter, Paul attempted to box out Nuggets guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope for a rebound. The veteran guard appeared to be in noticeable pain after the play, and took his time to run up the floor before eventually exiting the game and heading to the locker room.
The team later announced Paul would not return to the contest due to left groin tightness.
