The Suns got a major wake-up call in Game 1 against Denver.
In a lot of respects, this half of the Western Conference Semifinals could be simplified down to Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic vs Devin Booker and Kevin Durant. All four have been some of the most efficient offensive contributors leading their team’s efficient offenses. In game 1, the Nuggets’ pair won the battle, no question.
Murray didn’t play at all the last time these two teams met in the playoffs, ending with a quick “Suns in 4” ending.

One of the most anticipated days in the NFL offseason occurs when the next season’s schedule is released for all 32 teams, allowing fans to begin making travel plans to see their favorite matchups.
The date for the schedule release typically doesn’t get announced until a couple months into the offseason, and the date often lands sometime in May.
For the 2023 season, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Sunday that the tentative date for the schedule release is Thursday, May 11.

Fifteen-year-old Melanie Barcenas became the youngest player in NWSL history when she made her professional debut with the San Diego Wave on Saturday.
Barcenas signed a three-year deal with the team on March 21, days before the 2023 season started.
The home crowd at Snapdragon Stadium went absolutely wild as Barcenas waited to sub into the game for Belle Briede. The young forward came into the game in the 72nd minute while the Wave were trailing 3–1 to the Orlando Pride. San Diego was unable to rally and wound up lose to Orlando by the same score.

The Baku City Street Circuit has provided some incredible races over the years. This season’s Azerbaijan Grand Prix was not one of them.
However, while the race was dull, save for a slight bit of safety car drama, it did appear to confirm an all-Red Bull title battle could be in the cards.
Sergio Perez took his second Azerbaijan Grand Prix in three years, driving a virtually flawless race. Given the struggles everyone had with tire degradation, this was Checo’s race. No one nurses there Pirellis like him.

It’s safe to say sports fans in the Big Apple are excited for their new quarterback.
Fresh off his trade to the New York Jets, Aaron Rodgers took in a hockey game between the Rangers and the New Jersey Devils. As he appeared on the big screen at Madison Square Garden, the crowd went wild.

Red Bull’s dominance continued on Sunday, as Sergio Pérez held off teammate Max Verstappen for the win in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, who started on pole position, managed to fend off Fernando Alonso for the first podium of the season for the Scuderia.
But Leclerc could not hold off the Bulls.
