Former superstar pitcher Madison Bumgarner has been designated for assignment by the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Arizona Republic reporter Nick Piecoro reported Thursday that Bumgarner’s time with the team was likely over, despite having $34 million remaining on his contract.

The Grizzlies evened their series with the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night and then once the game was over one of their players went all in on talking trash about LeBron James. 
In cased you missed it, Grizzlies forward Dillon Brooks had a lot to say about James after Memphis’s 103–93 win. He trolled him over his age and added that he wished he could have played against the LeBron James when he played for the Cavaliers and the Heat. 
It was all a lot and now it all adds a very juicy storyline as the series shifts to Los Angeles for the next two games.
