The NBA coaching carousel is wasting no time getting into full swing this season, with one big name suddenly on the market after weeks of rumors, and a controversial replacement for him already being considered a top candidate.
The Toronto Raptors fired Nick Nurse on Friday morning, according to multiple reports.

NFL offenses prioritize high-level offensive tackle play. Poor protection doomed several young quarterbacks around the league throughout the 2022 campaign. Upgrades are of the utmost importance, particularly for high-volume passing offenses. Offensive tackles should fly off the board during the 2023 NFL Draft as a result.
Several tackles could be drafted within the opening 10 selections.

After an alternate-shot 83 on Friday at TPC Louisiana, Zurich teammates John Daly and David Duval are headed home early.
The Raptors have fired coach Nick Nurse, according to a report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The decision by Toronto comes just weeks removed from Nurse’s noncommittal comments on his future with the franchise. Last week, TSN insider Josh Lewenberg reported that the comments did not go over well with the Raptors front office.

Tom Brady has threatened a lawsuit over a comedy special in which an AI-generated version of the quarterback was giving a crass stand-up routine, according toTMZ.
The retired star quarterback was not a fan of the viral video, which has been wiped from the internet after Brady’s representatives sent a cease-and-desist letter to Will Sasso and Chad Kultgen, hosts of the Dudesy podcast, who are responsible for the development of the comedy film depicting Brady.
