76ers center Joel Embiid won his first NBA MVP title on Tuesday night, and his teammate James Harden was stoked for him.
One day before Philadelphia takes the court for Game 2 vs. the Celtics in round two of the 2023 NBA playoffs, Harden had quite the surprise for the star center.
Harden gifted Embiid a brand new Rolex watch that had “23 MVP” engraved on it. A video captured the moment that Harden gave his teammate the watch as he expressed how “proud” he was of Embiid for earning the league’s highest individual award.

The possibilities really are endless
Any time you have a new teammate there’s the obligatory “getting to know you” phase. It’s the sporting equivalent of a first date, and Sauce Gardner might have bitten off more than he bargained for when he decided to have a night on the town with Aaron Rodgers.

Sauce Gardner said he and Aaron Rodgers went to dinner at Carbone last night. Just the 2 of them. Rodgers picked up the tab. “I thought he was going to make me.” It was just the 2 of them for about 7 hours.

While at a charity event for Hat Creek Burgers in Dallas on Wednesday, Cowboys star Micah Parsons told reporters that he is not attending the team’s voluntary offseason program for a surprising reason. The two-time Pro Bowler is focusing on bulking up and adding weight to play defensive end full time in 2023.
Parsons has played linebacker for Dallas since he was drafted in 2021, but it appears that he’ll exclusively be coming off the edge this upcoming season. He added that he will return for Cowboys organized team activities, though, per Clarence Hill Jr.

The way Will Levis tumbled from high in the first round of the NFL Draft last week all the way to the second round, it was like he was caught putting Bud Light in his coffee.
No, that wasn’t it.
“I’m a one-cream, one-sugar type of guy,” he told Tennessee Titans’ reporters on Friday after being picked with the second pick of the second round and 33rd overall after Tennessee traded up to get him.
Levis had joked previously that he put mayonnaise in his coffee and ate bananas whole.
“No, just another stupid thing I said,” he said.

The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers finished with almost identical records this season while building their rosters through opposite philosophies.
The four-time champion Warriors forever turned the sport on its head by eschewing shots at the rim for three-pointers, inadvertently changing the geometry of the game and what constitutes a “good shot” in the process.

When Stephen Curry was walking on the sideline back to his team’s bench, LeBron James could be seen walking him all the way down to his seat and had something to say to his old rival who was subbing.
After the game, Curry explained what the interaction was and it was nowhere near as serious as people thought.

Days after the Titans drafted quarterback Malik Willis in the third round of the 2022 NFL draft, Ryan Tannehill told reporters that he was not obligated to “mentor” Willis on the nuts and bolts of being an NFL quarterback.
In this year’s draft, Tennessee once again selected a signal-caller, taking Kentucky’s Will Levis in the second round. On Wednesday, the 34-year-old Tannehill shared what appears to be a similar sentiment about Levis as he did toward Willis.
“Will Levis is a talented guy,” Tannehill told reporters.
