The Arizona Cardinals were very much in need of a uniform refresh after wearing the same uniforms for nearly two decades. In fact, according to the team, they haven’t refreshed their look since 2005.
On Thursday, the Cardinals unveiled their latest batch of threads, which sees their on-field look getting toned down quite a bit.
Maybe more than a bit.
The new home uniform is red with an “Arizona” wordmark across the chest… that’s about all there is to say about the home jersey.

Donald Trump is a big fan of UFC President Dana White.
The former President of the United States and White have a longstanding friendship, and that was on full-display during UFC 287 a couple weekends ago.
Trump entered the arena in Miami, and the place went absolutely wild. White later said on Fox News, “It’s insane, you know, if you think about this, I’ve been doing this for, like, 23 years. When you’re walking with Trump, it’s a whole ‘nother level, man. The entire place erupted. Everybody was going crazy, and it was fun.

The 2023 NFL Draft is almost upon us, which excites both the real and fantasy fan bases across the globe. That brings in a new crop of good, young players who could come right in and make an impact on our fantasy teams. We’ve already covered the top three offensive skill positions, so now it’s time to move on to the tight ends. It hasn’t been a very fruitful spot, at least among rookies, which we learned from my look at the overall position since 2000. But now, I’ll focus on just the first-rounders.

Former WWE wrestler Ted DiBiase Jr. faces more than a dozen charges in stealing millions of dollars from the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families anti-poverty program that is set aside for underprivileged families and low-income people in Mississippi.
DiBiase was charged with “one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and to commit theft concerning programs receiving federal funds, six counts of wire fraud, two counts of theft concerning programs receiving federal funds, and four counts of money laundering,” according to a federal indictment that was unsealed Thursday.

There’s never a dull moment in the NBA playoffs.
The Warriors took care of business at home Thursday, minus Draymond Green, and flagrant fouls flew in the 76ers-Nets game, which Philadelphia ultimately won — and just barely covered. The Clippers nearly overcame the absence of Kawhi Leonard thanks to an incredible Norman Powell game but the Suns still took the lead in the series.
The chaos continues this weekend with 11 games scheduled over the next three days.

The NFL announced Friday that five players have been suspended for gambling policy violations. Three of the five players have been suspended through at least the conclusion of the 2023 season while the other two will sit out their team’s first six games.
The decision from the league comes on the heels of Calvin Ridley being suspended for the entirety of the 2022 campaign for gambling.

The NFL has suspended five players for violating the league’s gambling policy, including Lions wide receivers Jameson Williams, Stanley Berryhill and Quintez Cephus (who was released by the team). Williams will now miss the first six games of the 2023 campaign.
Cephus, along with Lions safety C.J. Moore and Commanders defensive end Shaka Toney are suspended indefinitely. The suspensions for Williams and Berryhill reportedly are six games because they placed bets on non-NFL games from an NFL team facility.

Four members of the Detroit Lions and one member of the Commanders have been suspended for gambling
The NFL announced on Friday that five players — Jameson Williams, Stanley Berryhill, Quintez Cephus, C.J. Moore, of the Detroit Lions and Shaka Toney of the Washington Commanders — were being suspended by the league for violations of the NFL’s gambling policy.
According to the league, Moore, Cephus, and Toney have been suspended for the entire 2023 NFL season. Williams and Berryhill are facing six-game suspensions.
