Broncos legend John Elway is finally splitting with the organization after spending over a decade working as an executive.

As reported by NFL Network’s James Palmer, the Walton-Penner ownership group decided to not offer Elway a new contract after serving the last two years in a consultant role.

Darron Lee, a former NFL linebacker and Ohio State star, was arrested Monday in Dublin, Ohio, on two charges of misdemeanor domestic violence and two misdemeanor assault from two separate incidents, according to Franklin County Municipal Court records.
The charges stem from two different altercations, one of which happened on Monday and one that took place on Oct. 17, both at the same location. Per court records, a woman relative of Lee called the police to the home after Lee reportedly punched her in the head numerous times during an argument on Monday.

Reigning National League Cy Young winner Sandy Alcántara was sensational on Tuesday night at LoanDepot Park, posting Major League Baseball’s first shutout of the 2023 season in just one hour and fifty-seven minutes.
Miami’s ace rebounded from an opening day loss to the Mets with a superb 100 pitch effort against the previously undefeated Twins (4–1). The sub-two hour game was the shortest so far this season. 
The 27-year old talent, who helped Miami earn their first win of the season, snapped the club’s four-game losing streak in the process.

Miami’s ace was so dominant Tuesday that he had the Minnesota team back to the locker room just two hours after the first pitch.

The Pac-12 is unlikely to secure a favorable media rights deal and the Big 12 could benefit, according to a new report.
Media consultant Jim Williams told CBS that the longer negotiations go, the worse things are for the Pac-12 conference.
According to Williams, it’s becoming less likely for the conference to find a “partner willing to feature more than half its games on traditional cable or broadcast television.”
News broke just a few weeks ago that the conference wasn’t close to a deal with ESPN, further limiting options.

Former NFL linebacker and Ohio State Buckeyes standout Darron Lee was arrested after an incident at his home in Dublin, Ohio. Lee was arrested Monday evening, at around 5:30 p.m., according to Franklin County Sheriff’s Office documents.
Lee allegedly assaulted his mother, Candice Lee, and the mother of his child, Lindsey McGlone. McGlone and Darron Lee share a two-year-old son.

A famous trio of lifelong Yankees fans got to live out a lifelong dream on Tuesday night.
In the bottom half of the third inning of New York’s game against Philadelphia, the Jonas brothers joined Michael Kay in the booth during the telecast. With the Yankees trailing 2–0, rookie shortstop Anthony Volpe stepped to the plate and laced a fastball just beyond diving Phillies second baseman Bryson Stott.

Padres star Fernando Tatis Jr. is set to begin a minor league rehab assignment on Tuesday as he works his way back to San Diego ahead of the end of his 80-game suspension, stemming from last season. 
Tatis will feature for the El Paso Chihuahuas on Tuesday night. He’s expected to bat leadoff and will be playing right field for the Padres’ Triple A affiliates, the team announced on Tuesday. Tatis participated in Spring Training for the MLB club, but is not yet eligible to return to regular-season games.
