Sha’Carri Richardson won her first individual race of the 2023 track and field season, clocking at a legal-wind time of 10.77 seconds at the Miramar Invitational on Saturday.
Richardson dashed through the 100-meter sprint in Miramar, Fla., with an official time of 10.57 seconds. However, when factoring in the wind, it results to 10.77 seconds. Her time, without factoring in the wind component, marked the third-fastest 100-meter race all-time, sitting behind Elaine Thompson-Herah (10.54 seconds) in 1992 and Florence Griffith-Joyner (10.49) in ’59.

The third day of play has been pushed to Sunday.
For the second consecutive day, bad weather hit Augusta National Golf Club and forced officials to suspend play resulting in another round being pushed to the next day.
The third round of the Masters will resume play on Sunday as several players, including leader Brooks Koepka (-13), will continue Round 3 at 8:30 a.m. ET.

The Detroit Tigers have announced that they’re placing outfielder Austin Meadows on the 10-day injured list as he deals with anxiety.
According to The Detroit Free Press, it marks the second time in seven months that the 27-year-old has stepped away from the team due to his mental health.
“The Tigers fully support Austin’s decision to step away from the team and prioritize his mental health,” Tigers’ president of baseball operations Scott Harris said in a statement.

United States women’s national team forward Mallory Swanson was stretchered off the pitch after appearing to suffer a serious leg injury late in the first half of an World Cup tune-up match against Ireland.
Just before the halftime whistle blew, Swanson went to the ground after a challenge from Irish defender Aoife Mannion. The 24-year-old immediately grabbed for her left knee and signaled to the sideline for attention.
Training staff personnel and even USWNT manager Vlatko Andonovski came out onto the pitch to tend to and speak with Swanson.
