The day after Thanksgiving is known as Black Friday when shoppers across America flood malls (yeah, in the 1990s) in search of deeply discounted bargain prices for Christmas gifts. Well, the NFL is going to compete with that now.
The league has announced its first ever Black Friday game this year: The Miami Dolphins at the New York Jets.
The game at MetLife Stadium is scheduled for 3 p.m.

The Nuggets took care of business at home Tuesday night, beating the Suns 118–102 in Game 5 to take a 3–2 lead in the series, which shifts back to Phoenix on Thursday for Game 6. 
Nikola Jokić had a historic triple-double (29 points, 13 rebounds, 12 assists) in the win and had some fun with Shaquille O’Neal about that stat line after the game. 
Jokić also had some fun before the game when he playfully gave Suns owner Mat Ishbia a ball to put an end to their rift from that weird moment in Game 4.

The 2023 NFL schedule will be released in its entirety on Thursday, but the league is giving us a sneak peek with its international series games. There will be five in all, including two in Frankfurt, Germany. The league played its first-ever game in Germany last season, when the Seahawks and Buccaneers faced off in Munich.
Let’s look at the five international games from a fantasy perspective, and there’s plenty to consider for the upcoming NFL campaign… especially if you end up drafting one or multiple Jaguars players.

Falcons vs. Jaguars

The Big Ten reportedly is considering easing up its football scheduling guidance.
The conference is considering no longer mandating teams play a Power 5 non-conference game every year and would allow teams to keep scheduling FCS opponents, according to The Action Network’s Brett McMurphy.
Scheduling FCS teams was briefly banned by the the Big Ten before it was allowed with some level of restrictions. The conference has always been clear it’s against it, but will apparently not care with USC and UCLA joining the conference next summer.

Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval pokes fun at himself announcing the Bengals-Chiefs Week 17 game
Aftab Pureval, the mayor of Cincinnati, got himself into a little hot water in the buildup to last year’s AFC Championship Game.
He took a much more muted approach when announcing the rematch, set for Week 17 between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Kansas City Chiefs. The game will take place at 4:25 p.m. ET, on New Year’s Eve. The Chiefs opened as 3.5-point favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Ahead of the full 2023 schedule being released Thursday, the NFL announced five international games being played this upcoming season. With the announcement, the Jaguars will become the first NFL team ever to play back-to-back games in London.

Sixers hang on despite late scare from Celtics, 115-103
Philly gained their separation by way of a 12-1 run between first and second quarters, a 9-3 to start the second half, and a 10-2 run in the fourth, maintaining their leads well in the other minutes. Boston’s latest lead was less than four minutes into the opening quarter.
Jayson Tatum led all scorers with 36 points (11-27 FG). Adding 10 rebounds gives him his 28th career double-double in the playoffs.

The Dolphins and the Jets are slated to play in the NFL’s first Black Friday game
The NFL is slowly unveiling their full schedule for the 2023 season, and there are a number of first-time occurrences. Two of those occur in the league’s International Series, as the Jacksonville Jaguars will become the first team to play a pair of games overseas, as they will play back-to-back weeks in London.

The Celtics are on the brink of elimination from the NBA playoffs after getting blown at home by the 76ers in a pivotal Game 5 that was never really close. 
Before the game, Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal got into a heated argument about the final play of Game 4 that saw Boston run out of time before getting off what would have been a game-winning shot at the end of overtime. 
Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla took a lot of heat for not calling a timeout in the final seconds and later admitted that he made the wrong decision. 
That decision set Barkley and Shaq off.
