Apparently, to the folks at Red Bull BMX, hot air balloons weren’t extreme enough on their own. They needed to be combined to achieve maximum, unholy extremeness.
Red Bull made a BMX bowl out of carbon fiber and suspended it beneath a balloon. That balloon then rose to an altitude of 2,000 feet.
Red Bull Advanced Technologies — the company’s engineering arm and a cousin to their F1 team — was behind the carbon fiber bowl. Makes sense as that light material is exactly what Formula 1 cars are made of.
(Fun fact: Red Bull Advanced Technologies developed the Aeroscreen at IndyCar.

Please, no. Just stop. Stop this foolish talk about adding more time on the pitch clock in the ninth inning or postseason or, good heavens, turning off the best thing to happen to baseball in years.
Stop telling me the pitch timer will deprive us of the “drama” of big moments. Stop telling me we can’t have any more Kirk Gibson moments because players are “rushed”.
Baseball is red hot right now because the timer has excised 28 minutes of dead time from the average game. More action, less time.

Former Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger caused quite a stir on social media after seeming to make a controversial comment regarding Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson’s playing style.
In a quote taken from a recent episode of his podcast, Footbahlin with Ben Roethlisberger, the retired quarterback offers his opinion on what aspect of Jackson’s game that teams fear most.
“You don’t really fear Lamar’s arm, his accuracy, all the time,” Roethlisberger said. “You don’t fear him sitting in the pocket and picking you apart.

Bygones are never bygones in the AFC North. Ex-Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger gave his assessment of Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson during a recent podcast episode of “Footbahlin with Ben Roethlisberger.”
Jackson’s play remains under a telescope amid negotiations with the Ravens’ front office. He’s also the focus of the organization’s recent signing of Odell Beckham, Jr. While Lamar’s running ability is second to none in terms of QBs, his passing ability has been subject to debate.

Following The Masters, most great players take the week off. But, this year’s RBC Heritage is an elevated event on the PGA Tour. So, most of the best players are teeing it up, including World Golf’s #14 player Cameron Young.
Young played well Sunday at Augusta, shooting a final round 68. That got him into the Top 10 of The Masters where he finished tied for 7th with Viktor Hovland.
