After 20 glorious seasons with the same franchise, Heat forward Udonis Haslem is finally calling it a career.
The 42-year-old Miami native suited up for his final regular-season game on Sunday, and the team fittingly held a pre-game ceremony to give the home fans a chance to applaud Haslem for his contributions to the franchise. Teammate Bam Adebayo took the opportunity to give Haslem the perfect gift to send him into retirement.

With the NBA regular season wrapping up on Sunday, many players have the opportunity to reach milestones for the season. For Mikal Bridges, that meant reaching a milestone and extending a streak that is more rare in today’s game.
By starting the game for the Nets, Bridges got to play in his 83rd game of the year, the 42nd player to reach that accomplishment. Since he was part of the Kevin Durant trade from Phoenix to Brooklyn, Bridges was able to max out at one more game played than there are on a team’s schedule.

The United States women’s national team announced on Sunday that Alyssa Thompson will replace forward Mallory Swanson while she recovers from a patella tendon tear in her left knee suffered during Saturday’s World Cup tune-up match against Ireland. 
Thompson, who was the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NWSL draft, will earn just her second call-up for the USWNT this week when she plays against Ireland in another friendly on Tuesday in St. Louis. She was previously called up last October. If she plays in Tuesday’s match, it will be her third cap appearance for the USWNT.

Round 3 of the Masters resumed Sunday morning at Augusta National, and there are now five golfers within two to six shots of the leader, Brooks Koepka.
The LIV Golfer has a 54-hole lead on the field, with a score of 11-under. Koepka recorded a 5-under 67 in Round 2 heading into Round 3. The four-time major winner, though, shot a +1 in the third round of play. His lead has been a short two-stroke advantage thanks to the consistent play of FedEx Cup leader Jon Rahm.

Tiger Woods, who looked to be in serious pain during a rain-filled Saturday at the Masters, withdrew from the tournament because of a foot injury before play resumed Sunday morning.

The Lakers are signing Tristan Thompson, a veteran center with playoff experience on LeBron James’ teams in Cleveland, and Shaquille Harrison, a defensive-minded point guard, to fortify the roster for the playoffs, sources told ESPN.

As the NBA MVP race comes to an end, the debate has continued on who would win the coveted award.
