As UCF football gears up for its spring game on Friday night, the Knights are throwing it back. The offense is, at least.
This is not the first time that Central Florida has released new uniforms for their spring scrimmage. Back in 2021, the Knights replaced the last names on the back of their jerseys with social media handles. Last year, they traded jersey numbers for QR codes in an effort to help boost their players’ NIL opportunities and grow their brands.
The changes to this year’s helmets aren’t quite as extreme, but they are absolutely gorgeous.

Just two years since playing his last game in the pros, former NFL offensive lineman Russell Okung has undergone an incredible physical transformation: losing nearly 100 lbs. to continue the trend of chunky O-linemen that slimmed down dramatically.
Okung posted a photo of his side profile Sunday, looking entirely different than his NFL self. At his heaviest, Okung played at around 310 lbs. Now he’s built like a small forward in the NBA.

Deion Sanders is already transforming the Colorado football program. Among the new talent the Buffaloes’ coach brought to the school is his son, Shedeur, who also played for his father at Jackson State. 
He spoke to reporters on Sunday and opened up about being on his father’s roster, revealing that he tends to avoid the 55-year-old on game days. 
“I mean, from my experience with him, I stay away from him on game day,” Shedeur said of his father. “I don’t ask him nothing, I don’t hang around, I don’t play with him. I just keep my distance from him.

The Warriors crushed the Trail Blazers, 157–101, in the 2022–23 NBA regular-season finale Sunday.
Not only did Golden State clinch the sixth seed in the Western Conference playoffs, the team broke an NBA record in the first quarter.
The Warriors came out in the first 12 minutes and scored a total of 55 points, breaking the previous NBA record of 51 points in a first quarter. The record previously was held by the Hornets (over the Bucks earlier this season) and the Warriors (over the Nuggets in 2019).
Klay Thompson scored 17 of his 20 points in the first quarter.
