A day after he suffered a scary knee injury in a loss to the Thunder, the Clippers announced on Wednesday that star forward Paul George would be re-evaluated again in two-to-three weeks. That timeline likely means that George will not appear on the court again during the regular season.
George suffered the injury late in the fourth quarter of Tuesday night’s game while going for a rebound.

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott unveiled his new leg tattoos that cover almost his entire right leg.
One of the biggest tattoos shown in Prescott’s leg sleeve is the skyline of Dallas—the place he’s called home since he was drafted to the Cowboys in 2016. 
His tattoo artist, Andres Ortega, posted various close-up photos of the finished product. The process took around 10 hours, Ortega noted.

Although the United States lost Tuesday night’s World Baseball Classic final, American-born Lars Nootbaar went home with a gold medal. The 25-year-old St. Louis Cardinals outfielder played for Team Japan and became an international sensation.
Nootbaar, who played college baseball at USC, was born to Charlie Nootbaar, his American father of Dutch, English, and German descent, and Kumiko Enokida, his Japanese mother. Houston has added another talented veteran in free agency.
The Texans have reportedly landed another veteran free agent signing, agreeing to a one-year deal with former Pro Bowl linebacker Denzel Perryman, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Perryman, 30, will make way for Houston after spending the last two years with the Raiders. In his first year with Las Vegas, he pieced together his best professional season, racking up 154 tackles and earning his first and only Pro Bowl nomination.

In Columbus on Wednesday, the Ohio State Buckeyes conducted their Pro Day. Draft-eligible players performed for NFL scouts. Of course, the main attraction was quarterback CJ Stroud — especially for the Carolina Panthers.

Chris “Mad Dog” Russo was in vintage form on ESPN’s First Take on Wednesday, bashing the coverage of Shohei Ohtani vs Mike Trout showdown in the final at-bat of the World Baseball Classic.
