The Oakland Athletics are packing their bags for Las Vegas. And A’s legend Reggie Jackson isn’t happy about it.
During a conversation with Sportico Thursday, Jackson ripped the City of Oakland for their inability to keep the A’s and — well — every sports team in the town.
“You’re going to lose the team,” Jackson said. “The city, I thought, really needed to do something. Save the A’s. You lost the Warriors. You lost the Raiders.

Diving into some of the latest rumors ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft
Thankfully, the 2023 NFL Draft is less than a week away. All 32 teams are in the process of finalizing their draft boards, and looking ahead to Thursday night when the Carolina Panthers are officially on the clock.
All expectations have the Panthers drafting a quarterback with that selection, and all signs are pointing to Carolina adding Alabama quarterback Bryce Young with that selection.
After that, however? It seems all bets are off.
Simone Biles and Texans safety Jonathan Owens officially tied the knot on Saturday.
The Olympic gymnast and the Houston defender posted a set of intimate photos on social media with romantic captions to reveal their new status to the world.

“My person, forever ❤️💍 #TheOwens #itsofficial,” Owens tweeted.
Phil Jackson dedicated most of his life to basketball. But now, the legendary NBA coach says he doesn’t have much interest in the sport.

Appearing as a guest on the “Tetragrammaton with Rick Rubin” podcast, Jackson said he hasn’t been a fan since the Orlando Bubble in 2020.
“I am not enjoying the game. That’s too bad. There’s a whole generation that doesn’t like the game,” Jackson said. “No, I don’t (watch basketball). I watched the game evolve, and then they went into the lockout year and did something that was kind of wanky.
