Jameis Winston is forever a legend in Tallahassee and his little brother may soon follow in his footsteps. Jonah, a Class of 2026 recruit, received a scholarship offer from Florida State and head coach Mike Norvell over the wekened.
Jameis, who won a national title with the Seminoles in 2013, was offered a restructured deal to stay with New Orleans in 2023 and beyond. He will have until Wednesday to accept the contract or he will be released.
As the 29-year-old former Heisman Trophy winner decides on his future, he returned to his alma mater.

The entire NFL world is waiting to see what Aaron Rodgers will do next season, as it appears the superstar quarterback is choosing between retirement, returning to the Packers or agreeing to be traded to the Jets.

Texas Southern basketball is the worst team to make March Madness this season. The Tigers got hot at the right time to set up the strangest matchup of the entire NCAA Tournament, and mark the return of the best dancing mascot in the country!
Texas Southern, which had just nine Division-I wins in 2022/23, finished the regular season at 11-20. It somehow beat Arizona State back in November, but got obliterated by Oral Roberts, Houston, Auburn and Kansas in four of its next five games.

The Japanese superstar put on a show in front of his home fans in Tokyo.
No player is likely to receive more attention in this year’s World Baseball Classic than Shohei Ohtani, especially in his native Japan. The two-way superstar last played in front of his home fans in 2017, and he has not disappointed thus far.

Rick Pitino is back like he never left. The 70-year-old head coach, currently in his third season at Iona, will make his 22nd NCAA Tournament appearance next week after winning the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference tournament on Saturday.

In its first game of the 2023 World Baseball Classic, Team USA defeated Great Britain, 6-2, at Chase Field in Phoenix to open pool play.
Great Britain got out to an early lead, as Trayce Thompson homered off Adam Wainwright in the top of the first inning. Thompson, the most experienced major league player on Great Britain’s roster, is eligible to play for the team through his father, Bahamian former NBA star Mychal Thompson.
