Friday’s practice sessions left Lewis Hamilton and the rest of Mercedes looking for answers
Mercedes Team Principal Toto Wolff said ahead of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix that the team was bringing small developments to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit for the second race of the 2023 Formula 1 season.
After the first two practice sessions, however, it seems more developments are needed still.
Both Lewis Hamilton and George Russell admitted after Friday’s practices that they struggled in the W14, and that more improvements are needed.

Xavier and Baylor are moving on.
The first day of the 2023 men’s NCAA tournament was full of dramatic finishes, wild upsets, and new players becoming March Madness heroes before our eyes. As the tournament advances to its second day, the slate will loaded with fascinating matchups and will surely produce more memorable moments.
It looked like there was going to be a huge upset coming to start day two when the No. 14 seed Kennesaw State Owls built a double-digit lead in the second half against No. 3 seed Xavier.
It appears that we’re getting closer to official news of Dan Snyder’s sale of the Washington Commanders.
Reports suggest Snyder has already cleared his stuff out of the team’s facilities.
According to Pro Football Talk, Snyder and his wife, Tanya, have left the building(s). Believe it or not, this wasn’t a recent move either. A source told the PFT that the Snyders had left in late December.
They also said that the buzz around the building indicates that a sale is “imminent.”
Merriam-Webster dictionary defines “imminent” as “ready to take place; happening soon.
GREENSBORO- The group of friends were loud and proud, as they all double-fisted beers on St. Patricks Day inside the Greensboro Coliseum. Kennesaw State was playing in its first NCAA Tournament game, so no matter that Xavier won, these fans clad in yellow brought the noise.
One by one, I saw each student filing back into their seats after halftime with a few beers in their hand, deciding to stand for the entire game. They were certainly going to make the most out of this experience at the NCAA Tournament.
Kennesaw State led for most of the contest, but Xavier’s defense came through in the final minutes to help the Musketeers advance to the Round of 32.
In a game that went down to the wire, No. 3 Xavier used timely offense, and a key final defensive possession to survive an upset bid from No. 14 Kennesaw State on Friday afternoon, 72–67.
Kennesaw State led for most of the ball game, but Xavier’s defense was stifling in the final minutes of regulation, as the Musketeers were able to go on a run and make timely stops to stave off the upset.
Sights and sounds from the ESPN staff at each and every regional site from the first two days of action.
That’s it. I’ve seen enough. After one race weekend and a day of free practice sessions, I — an armchair F1 pundit — am ready to declare that Aston Martin, is, in fact, for real.
Like, for real for real.
Two weeks ago, the Silverstone-based team had their best weekend in Bahrain since Sergio Perez drove a pink Mercedes from last to the top step of the podium at the Sakhir Grand Prix in 2020. They weren’t even known as Aston Martin, they were still called Racing Point.
The Musketeers were down 13 at one point in the game.
Xavier faced tough competition vs. Kennesaw State in the first round of the men’s NCAA tournament, having to fight out of a 13-point deficit in the second half. However, the Musketeers were able to take the lead at one point in the second half with just a few minutes remaining.
That comeback came with some heat, as No. 3 Xavier was facing the pressure to avoid the upset. At a timeout, guards Souley Boum and Adam Kunkel appeared to get into a screaming match during a tie game.
The former franchise star has some thoughts about the team making a run at the Ravens quarterback.
The Ravens placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on star quarterback Lamar Jackson ahead of free agency after he was unable to come to terms with the team on a contract extension.
The non-exclusive franchise tag gives rival teams a chance to send an offer sheet to Jackson for a contract. The Ravens are then in the position to either match the offer from an opposing team, or let Jackson walk and collect two first-round picks from the team who signs him.
With the end of the NBA regular season fast approaching the NBA MVP debate is starting to heat up. While fans around the league have certain players in mind who they see as worthy for the award, Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Joel Embiid seem like the clear front-runners.
Like Jokic, Antetokounmpo already has multiple league MVP honors under his belt, but he still isn’t exactly sure what the criteria is to win the award. The Greek Freak recently spoke with Sam Amick of The Athletic and voiced real frustration while questioning what exactly the MVP stands for.
