It’s a great fit for Garoppolo, as he knows the offense of coach Josh McDaniels well from their time together in New England.

Ultimately, the team and Jones came to an agreement for slightly less money than what was proposed by the quarterback’s agents.
The Giants and quarterback Daniel Jones reached an agreement on a four-year, $160 million contract extension last week ahead of the start of free agency, but it was not without some heavy negotiating on both sides.
Sources told Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer that Jones’s agents worked with A.J. Stevens, a former cap expert for the Buccaneers, to help get their client an average annual value that they believed suited his skillset.

As the XFL returned to St. Louis on Sunday night, the good people of ‘The Lou’ made it abundantly clear that it is, in fact, a football city. Even if Stan Kroenke thinks otherwise!
