An F1 fan at this past weekend’s Australian Grand Prix — which was insane, by the way — was hit by debris from his favorite driver’s car, leaving him with a laceration on his forearm.
No, he didn’t get to take home the piece of debris either.
The incident happened on Lap 54 when Haas’ Kevin Magnussen clipped one of the walls around Melbourne’s Albert Park Circuit which shredded his right rear tire of VF-23.

The incident involving Kevin Magnussen that led to our third restart of the day! #AusGP #F1 pic.twitter.

It appears that Raiders coach Josh McDaniels added an old friend from New England to his coaching staff during the offseason. Oliver Thomas of Forbes was the first to notice that former NFL wide receiver Danny Amendola is now listed as a assistant returners coach on Las Vegas’s coaching staff on Tuesday.
McDaniels, who was a longtime Patriots offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, is very familiar with the former wideout. Amendola played for 13 years and called it a career in 2022 after playing for seven different NFL franchises.

Basketball has come so easy to Stephen Curry that he is apparently taking his talents to a new challenge: television. Deadline’s Peter White reports that Curry will co-star in a new NBC comedy show titled Mr. Throwback alongside actor Adam Pally.
According to the report, the series will be about a sports memorabilia dealer who reunites with Curry, his sixth-grade basketball teammate. Curry, of course, will play himself, while Pally will likely play the memorabilia dealer, and the show will be in a mockumentary style.

The 2023 Masters is upon us, the greatest four-day stretch golf has to offer has arrived, and as per usual, there are several intriguing storylines to follow heading into the year’s first major championship.

One of the most intriguing subplots of this year’s Masters tournament is the rivalry between LIV golfers and PGA Tour players. If you were hoping for some early-round fireworks, I’ve got bad news.
The Masters released tee times and groupings for the first and second rounds, and none of the big names from the two tours are paired together. Looking forward to a Brooks Koepka vs. Scottie Scheffler showdown? No such luck.
How about outspoken LIV critic Rory McIlroy playing with Open Champion and LIV defector Cam Smith? Nope.

As Tiger Woods prepares to compete in his 25th Masters, he isn’t sure how many he has left. The 47-year-old continues to deal with the life-changing effects of a near-fatal car crash on Feb. 23, 2021 and takes things day by day. He isn’t taking any moment for granted, because he knows that it could all end at any time.
Woods pushed through significant pain and finished all four rounds at Augusta National last year, a tough walk on healthy legs, and the struggle was especially evident Saturday and Sunday.
