And we’re into the last 24 hours …
• What will Will Anderson Jr. be as a pro?
It depends on who you ask.
“I think unless you’re a true 34 defense, he’s more of a DPR,” said one coach, using the shorthand for designated, or situational, pass rusher. “It’s hard unless you play him as outside linebacker, or a crash-9 or wide-9 defensive end, where you can keep him away from the tight ends.”

Thoughts from this year’s top wide receiver prospect.
Once upon a time referring to an NFL wide receiver as a “slot guy” seemed like a demerit of sorts. While working out of the middle is hardly an easy thing the implication was that the player in question did not have the talent (or physical dominance) to win outside.
Looking at the top wide receiver in this year’s draft class in Ohio State WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, there are many who have characterized him as somebody who only does his work in the slot.

If you get into the weeds collecting anything, you’re bound to pick up a few pieces that will fail to register for most people. Sports business reporter and ticket collector extraordinaire Darren Rovell showed off just such a piece.

But his off-the-field issues have hurt his stock significantly. Apparently, the Philadelphia Eagles care far more about the former than the latter.
Carter said Wednesday that his understanding is that the Eagles are going to take him if he’s available. That makes sense that he believes that, since his agent told the world that Carter is not visiting with any teams outside the Top 10.
