LSU outside linebacker Harold Perkins is missing.
And LSU coach Brian Kelly and defensive coordinator Matt House are trying to find him quickly before the No. 14 Tigers (1-1) play at Mississippi State (2-0) on Saturday (12 p.m., ESPN).
House, you see, and Kelly made Perkins disappear in LSU’s 45-24 loss to Florida State in the season opener two weeks ago after a switch to inside linebacker. Perkins returned for last week’s game on the outside, but that was in a 72-10 win over Grambling. His play did not really matter, and he provided only a glimpse of his former self.

The defending NFC-champion Philadelphia Eagles improved to 2-0 with 34-28 victory at home over the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night.

Ole Miss defensive tackle DeSanto Rollins has filed a federal lawsuit against head football coach Lane Kiffin and the university claiming he was kicked off the team during a “mental health crisis” while also alleging his race played a role in the situation. The junior from Baton Rouge, Louisiana is demanding $10 million in compensatory damages and another $30 million in punitive damages.

Strickland shocked the MMA world when he defeated Adesanya in Australia, and it was clear the two were having words after the match.

Former Florida coach Dan Mullen continues to take subtle jabs at the Gators, and it’s the kind of drama college football fans crave.
The former Gators coach left Gainesville with a 34-15 record, but was shown the exit after an incredibly disappointing 2021 campaign. He still seems to be a bit bitter.
Mullen was caught liking tweets about Florida’s decline since he was fired a couple years ago, and he now took the opportunity to remind everyone the Gators have fallen off from where they were just a few years ago.
