Before my thoughts on the quarterback (contract) class of 2023 and the defensive linemen holdout resolution, a word on the injury to Aaron Rodgers, on whom I have shared many personal insights in this space over the years.
I feel for him, and I feel for Jets fans. This was a time of hope, renewal and excitement for Aaron and the Jets, and it lasted all of four plays.
Just as I continue to be an unabashed Packers fan, I continue to be an unabashed Aaron fan.

Ole Miss defensive tackle DeSanto Rollins has filed a federal lawsuit against head football coach Lane Kiffin and the university claiming he was kicked off the team during a “mental health crisis” while also alleging his race played a role in the situation. The junior from Baton Rouge, Louisiana is demanding $10 million in compensatory damages and another $30 million in punitive damages.

Could a change in track layout bring more thrills for fans?
Historically, the circuit at Marina Bay has provided dynamic visuals. Formula 1 cars streaking around the city streets with the Singapore skyline offers an incredible setting.
However, races at Marina Bay have been found lacking in another department.
Overtaking.
The narrow configuration of the track, coupled with the number of twists and turns on the city streets, has seen overtaking come at a premium over the years.
Israel Adesanya made some truly bizarre comments to Sean Strickland after their UFC 293 fight.
Strickland shocked the MMA world when he defeated Adesanya in Australia, and it was clear the two were having words after the match.
Strickland said after the bout the UFC superstar was upset about comments he made about Izzy and his dog.

Former Florida coach Dan Mullen continues to take subtle jabs at the Gators, and it’s the kind of drama college football fans crave.
