Things didn’t pan out in Toronto for Bo Cruz.
Juancho Hernangómez‘s tenure with the Raptors came to an end on Tuesday, as the organization reportedly waived the 27-year-old, according to Shams Charania.
Hernangómez signed with Toronto during the summer, shortly after the release of the Netflix movie Hustle, in which he played one of the leads, Bo Cruz, alongside Adam Sandler, who plays an NBA scout. 
Hernangómez featured in 42 games for the Raptors this season, averaging 14.6 minutes per game, but found himself out of Nick Nurse’s rotation of late.

Second-year pro could be a top 10 fantasy RB if he becomes the full-time starter.
The new NFL year doesn’t officially begin until March 15, but we’re already starting to hear buzz about some players that will be released from their current teams on that date. One such player is Tampa Bay Buccaneers veteran running back Leonard Fournette.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero has reported that the Bucs plan to release Fournette, who turned 28 in January. Fournette just finished his third season in Tampa after playing his first three seasons in Jacksonville. He helped the Bucs win Super Bowl LV.
