This might be the longest in-game dunk in NBA history.
The free throw line dunk has survived generation after generation as the most impressive feat of athleticism on a basketball court. Julius Erving became the first man to try in the 1976 dunk contest, Michael Jordan popularized it a decade later in the same event, and ever since we’ve seen everyone from Brent Barry to Serge Ibaka or Zach LaVine (with a windmill thrown in for good measure) try it.
What you don’t see often is someone trying a free throw line dunk in a game.

The quarterback denies any animosity between he and his former coach.
On Friday, The Athletic reported that Russell Wilson asked the Seahawks to fire both coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Schneider last February. That appeared to be the last straw for the organization, as Seattle traded Wilson to the Broncos later that offseason.

The new Arizona coach shared a fun story to explain how his quarterback is rehabbing.
New Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon’s first big goal is to make sure quarterback Kyler Murray rehabs properly and is healthy by the time he returns. Only two weeks into the job, Gannon seems confident enough in his relationship with Murray to joke about it with the media.
When asked about how Murray’s rehab is going, Gannon used a funny point of reference to explain that the quarterback is doing well.
“He wanted to play me one-on-one today, so I guess he’s doing pretty good,” Gannon joked.

This humble pie is so sweet.
A video of a youth basketball team went viral in January when the third graders were seen flexing on their competition, mocking the kids they were playing against, and generally being little punks. It sparked a huge range of conversation. Some people felt it was fine, and just a reflection of how kids are now — while others thought it went way beyond the pale that parents and coaches would tolerate the team being this disrespectful.
