It’s getting to be do-or-die time in men’s college basketball.
Third-year TCU basketball player Eddie Lampkin Jr. stepped away from the program ahead of the Big 12 Tournament earlier this week. Although the exact reason is unclear, he posted a series of since-deleted screenshots to his Instagram that accused head coach Jamie Dixon of “misconduct and racially insensitive comments.”
Lampkin, who averaged 6.3 points per game in 21.8 minutes during the 2022-23 season, was a three-star recruit in the Class of 2020. He saw time in 10 games as a freshman, started 32 of 33 games played in 2021-22 and started 19 of 24 games played this year.

The entire 2023 NCAA tournament field will officially be announced on Sunday, March 12, but before that teams will play for their respective conference tournament title, which guarantees a spot in the NCAA tournament.
There is a total of 68 teams in the field, with 32 qualifying through automatic bids from winning conference tournaments.
Italy took on Cuba at the 2023 World Baseball Classic pool play. Italy jumped out to a 2-0 lead but Cuba would come back and tie the game up. It would head to extras. Italy’s offense proved to be clutch as it scored 4 runs in the extra frame. Italy would go on to win 6-3.

There’s growing sentiment inside the Jets that the team is actually going to be able to trade for Aaron Rodgers. Jets’ owner Woody Johnson traveled to California to meet with Rodgers this week to sit down and discuss whether he’d be happy to come to New York, and according to recent reports those meetings went well.
