1. People getting tattoos of famous people or movie characters isn’t all that noteworthy. The execution of those tattoos, however, could be noteworthy. 
In the case of free-agent running back Leonard Fournette, his tattoos and the execution of said tattoos is extremely noteworthy.
Thanks to Good Morning Football’s Kyle Brandt, we learned Friday morning that Fournette has tattoos of Robert De Niro and Chazz Palminteri, who played Lorenzo and Sonny, respectively, in the great 1993 film A Bronx Tale.

Rapper J. Cole and country music artist Eric Church are both members of the ownership group led by Gabe Plotkin and Rick Schnall that is finalizing the purchase of a majority stake in the Hornets from NBA legend Michael Jordan, according to a release from the team on Friday.
“The Buyer Group will also include Dan Sundheim, Ian Loring, Dyal HomeCourt Partners, North Carolina natives recording artist J. Cole and country music singer-songwriter Eric Church, and several local Charlotte investors, including Amy Levine Dawson and Damian Mills,” the release said.

Michael Jordan’s 13-year tenure as majority owner of the Charlotte Hornets is coming to an end.
The long-rumored sale of the Charlotte Hornets is finally a reality. Michael Jordan, who owns majority stakes in the Hornets, is selling his shares to Gabe Plotkin and Rick Schnall, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
The new majority owners of the Hornets both come from the financial sector. Plotkin founded Melvin Capital in 2014.

This week’s series was one of the biggest of the season thus far for both the Rangers and Angels
Texas has been in first place in the AL West all year long and began the four-game set with a five-game lead on the second-place Astros. Los Angeles was also within spitting distance at 6.5 games back. The Angels won the first two games and the Rangers won the third, so Thursday night’s finale was an opportunity for Texas to salvage a split.

Ja Morant will be handed a 25-game suspension by the NBA for his second offense of flashing a gun on Instagram Live. The suspension comes exactly 34 days after the video of Morant holding a gun inside a vehicle went viral.
The NBA released a statement about Morant’s suspension and confirmed he will not be paid during his time away from the Memphis Grizzlies.
“The league office found that, on May 13, Morant intentionally and prominently displayed a gun while in a care with several other individuals as they were leaving a social gathering in Memphis,” the statement reads in part.
