Erik Compton, a professional golfer who has played in two PGA Tour events in 2023, was arrested in Florida over the weekend and taken to jail on charges of domestic battery and strong arm robbery.
According to WSVN, Compton allegedly threw his wife into a wall at their home and threw her phone into a pool during an argument.
The arrested reports from Miami-Dade police Department stated that he and his wife were having a verbal argument about “relationship issues,” which is when Compton’s wife took out her phone and began recording.

USC is expected to hire Washington athletic director Jennifer Cohen to the same position, ESPN’s Pete Thamel first reported. Cohen replaces Mike Bohn, who resigned from the role in May following 3 1/2 years with the Trojans.
Cohen, who was at Washington for over two decades, has served as the Huskies’ athletic director since 2016 and has been a member of the College Football Playoff selection committee since last year. She is one of only a handful of women athletic directors in the country and will become USC’s first female athletic director.

In the four-part documentary, the filmmakers take you on a wild ride through the Urban Meyer years at Florida, breaking down each season with eventful commentary. But it’s not who was interviewed during the film that will have you rewinding certain scenes on Netflix.
