Head coach Ron Rivera had one more call to make following draft season
The Washington Commanders, like many NFL teams, are about to break for the summer.
But like the other 31 NFL organizations, the Commanders are still making tweaks to their organization.
The team announced the newest member of their organization on Tuesday, with head coach Ron Rivera delivering the news in the cutest way possible:

After a long, drawn-out head coaching search, the New York Rangers finally hired Peter Laviolette. Laviolette led the Carolina Hurricanes to a Stanley Cup Championship in 2006, the only one in franchise history.

That happened over 15 years ago, but teams continue to bring in Laviolette, hoping he can re-create the magic. So far, it hasn’t worked.

As Bruce Brown Jr. did multiple dribble moves, stepped back and shot a three-pointer, Nikola Jokic threw his hands in the air in confusion; a reaction that likely many Denver Nuggets fans watching also had.

Nikola Jokić led the Nuggets to the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference and made a solid case for winning his third straight MVP — he ultimately finished second.
