I’m a child of the 1980s and ‘90s, so I love listening to the old hair bands. Give me a little Motley Crue, Warrant or Poison over most of today’s music any day! One of my other favorites was Skid Row, who busted out with their big hit “Youth Gone Wild.”
That song title describes what’s been happening in the fantasy football world. More often than ever before, we’re seeing rookies and second-year players step onto the gridiron and go wild in the stat sheets.

With more relaxed restrictions on weed in the NFL, Steelers defensive tackle Cam Heyward is calling for the League to reinstate former Pittsburgh wideout, Martavis Bryant.
The Steelers vet advocated for Bryant’s reinstatement, now five years removed from the NFL, on his “Not Just Football” podcast.
Hayward said that with society and the League getting more progressive with a green-friendly rulebook, guys like Bryant, 31, and ex-Pro Bowler Josh Gordon, 32, deserve a second opportunity.
It’s not often that a head coach calls out one of his ex-players on social media. Thankfully, the NBA has gifted us the George Karl-J.R. Smith feud, which was seemingly revived on Twitter this week.
Smith started the bickering after appearing on J.J. Redick’s podcast. The stoned-out Smith and very woke Redick discussed the player’s time in Denver.
Angry Ex-NBA Coach Goes After Former Player
J.R. wasn’t shy to critique then-coach George Karl’s schematics.
“We didn’t have one out-of-bounds play, my whole time playing for this man,” Smith said.
Tiger Woods and his ex-girlfriend Erica Herman will have to settle their dispute in private arbitration as Florida Circuit Judge Elizabeth Metzger ruled in favor of the 15-time major winner on Wednesday. The court ruling is in favor of Woods as Herman now must abide by the NDA she signed in 2017.
Herman accused Woods of sexual harassment in a court filing in March and sued both the golfer and the trust that owns his $54 million mansion in Florida. She is seeking $30 million from the trust amid the unspecified allegations of sexual harassment.
For seven consecutive years, the Chiefs have ruled the AFC West. And while anything is possible, they’re strong favorites to do so again.
However, they’ll face a challenge from the Chargers, who made the playoffs for the first time last year under coach Brandon Staley. Going 10–7 despite a myriad of injuries, Los Angeles has the talent to push Kansas City.
The Broncos and Raiders are in a different situation than their divisional counterparts. Both Denver and Las Vegas have quarterback questions along with shaky offensive lines.
The Lions have the spotlight, but the NFC North could offer a few surprise teams this season.
Many are predicting Detroit will end its division title drought, which extends back to 1993, when the team played in the old NFC Central. But the Packers are an intriguing team with new starting quarterback Jordan Love and a defense filled with playmakers. Green Bay has enough pieces on its roster to push the Lions for the division crown.
P.J. Fleck’s appearance has changed substantially over the past two decades.
Fleck has successfully turned the Minnesota Gophers into a competitive football program after years and years of getting kicked around in the B1G.
He’s 44-27 during his time with the Gophers and even managed to win 11 games back in 2019. Minnesota is definitely enjoying an era of success the program isn’t used to thanks to P.J. Fleck. However, he wasn’t always a big time football coach.

I’m taking Collin Morikawa to win his third major championship. He has such terrific ball striking and consistent iron play; Oak Hill seems like a course that will suit him well.

Paul Casey is the latest to withdraw from the field ahead of the 105th PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York.
With less than 24 hours before the first tee time at Oak Hill Country Club for the 105th PGA Championship, LIV golfer Paul Casey has announced his withdrawal from the event. He cited an injury for why he wouldn’t play.
Casey received a special exemption into the event, but with him fighting a back injury the last year or so, it looks like he wasn’t able to give it a go.
