As Ja Morant continues to grab headlines, his sister Teniya ‘Niya’ Morant made her college decision on late Wednesday night. She is headed to the SWAC and will play for Mississippi Valley State University.

Niya, a 5-foot-7 guard, did not receive a lot of offers out of high school. The Delta Devils were the first to offer her, and Grambling State made a big push down the stretch.
In the end, though, Niya decided that the first school was the right school.

While others in the media seem to be making excuses for the NBA superstar or pointing the finger at his friends and family, Smith isn’t subscribing to that idea.

We’ve seen a lot of nasty pitches so far in the 2023 Major League Baseball season, but what White Sox right-hander Joe Kelly threw during Wednesday night’s game against the Guardians might be the filthiest one of the year. 
The reliever threw a perfect eighth inning against the Guardians and he got things started with a baffling strikeout of Tyler Freeman. The poor third baseman tried his best to catch up with Kelly’s 99 mph two-seamer but he never stood a chance and had to make the long walk back to the dugout while probably wondering what had just happened.

Former PGA Championship winner John Daly has officially withdrawn from competition this week at Oak Hill Country Club.
John Daly is no longer in the field this week for the 105th PGA Championship, as the 1991 winner had to withdraw due to an injury. As he rehabs from a knee replacement, the event’s timing was just too soon for the legendary player.
Daly plays on the PGA Tour Champions and has seen Oak Hill before, but it’s understandable for him to withdraw with that kind of injury on his plate.
