Dan Snyder has agreed to pay a $60 million fine after findings of a lengthy investigation into the now former owner of the Commanders were released Thursday.
The Miami Marlins saw a freak injury in Wednesday’s loss to the St. Louis Cardinals.
In the third inning, a foul ball connected with Marlins third base coach Jody Reed’s right leg, leading to the coach limping off the field.
According to Marlins manager Skip Schumaker in a postgame interview, X-rays confirmed that Reed broke his leg due to the hit.

Wyndham Clark is the reigning US Open champion. With that comes expectations of greatness at this year’s Open Championship. And after a strong first round, Clark is in contention to contend at two consecutive major golf tournaments.
But there was a moment when his entire round almost went sideways. Literally.

The end of Dan Snyder’s time as an NFL owner sparked celebrations from fans and pundits alike on Thursday following the approval of the sale of the Commanders to the Josh Harris group for $6.05 billion.
Snyder’s 24-year tenure was cloaked in controversy over the last several years stemming from an investigation into the organization over allegations of workplace misconduct. The findings of the investigation, led by former U.S. attorney Mary Jo White, were also released Thursday, along with the news of Snyder receiving a $60 million fine as a penalty.

Nolen, the No. 2 overall recruit in the Class of 2022, could have gone anywhere in the country. The Volunteers were high on his radar and made it into his final five.
During the recruiting process, Nolen took multiple visits to Knoxville.

After the league’s owners approved the $6.05 billion sale of the Commanders to a group led by Josh Harris on Thursday, the NFL released the findings of the investigation led by former U.S. Attorney Mary Jo White into alleged workplace misconduct made by former members of the franchise against replaced Washington owner Dan Snyder.
Based on what White discovered, the NFL fined Snyder $60 million.
“The conduct substantiated in Ms. White’s findings has no place in the NFL,” Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement.
It’s been three weeks since James Harden opted into his $35.6 million player option for next season with the intent of getting traded away from the 76ers. While the former MVP remains on the team’s roster, he hasn’t spoken publicly on the issue since the reports of the trade request came out.
That is, until today—well, sort of.
