Chicago Bulls center and NBA veteran Andre Drummond is at a tipping point with social media. So he’s quitting, cold turkey, and going a step beyond by changing his phone number to avoid all the noise.
Drummond announced that his management team will now be in charge of his platforms (including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram).

Boston’s cap issues are preventing the 31-year-old from getting back on the ice.
The Bruins are currently mired by salary cap constraints, so much so that they are currently unable to activate former Hart Trophy winner Taylor Hall from his stint on long-term injured reserve.
According to TSN’s Darren Dreger, Hall has indicated that he feels ready to return from LTIR list, but Boston doesn’t have the cap space to facilitate such a roster move.

Shohei Ohtani is on quite a run to start the 2023 MLB season.
The Los Angeles Angels superstar led Japan to an upset win over the United States in the World Baseball Classic.
That was impressive enough, but how they got there was even more spectacular. Japan went undefeated in the tournament, and Ohtani struck out all-world teammate Mike Trout to seal the win.
He’s also heading into his walk year, and considering his age and unprecedented two-way contributions, he’s likely to set salary records next offseason.

Calvin Ridley is not only one of the NFL’s best wide receivers when at his best, he is also a really good gambler. So he says, at least.
Ridley, who was traded from Atlanta to Jacksonville back in November, was suspended for the entire 2022 NFL season after betting on games in the fall of 2021. He was away from the Falcons while dealing with injury and placed multiple bets on NFL and NBA games, including his own team.
That is not allowed. It is a direct violation of the NFL’s gambling policy.

By this point, everyone who follows hockey to even a casual degree knows that the Chicago Blackhawks are rebuilding. The only player left on their roster from their three-time Stanley Cup-winning dynasty is captain Jonathan Toews.
However, it sounds as though his time with the Blackhawks is winding down as well.
Toews hasn’t played since late January, and last month he announced he was stepping away from the team to deal with the effects of long COVID. He also missed the 2020-21 season with Chronic Immune Response Syndrome.
