Jalen Hurts became the highest-paid player in NFL history on Monday when he agreed to a five-year, $255 million contract with the Eagles.
The star quarterback is due to pocket $51 million in average annual salary, prompting a brilliant reaction on Twitter from his agent, Nicole Lynn.
Lynn celebrated the record-setting contract by re-surfacing one of her old tweets. Back in January, while working on Hurts’s megadeal, Lynn asked her Twitter followers where she could locate a Brinks truck, indicating that Philadelphia’s quarterback would be in line for a gargantuan payday.

He can hit ridiculous home runs to all different parts of the park, no matter where a pitch is thrown.
He also can throw pitches with so much movement that make professional hitters look silly trying to make any type of contact with them.

After a season plagued with injuries, Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford started off his team’s offseason program by answering questions regarding his return in 2023 and if he ever doubted that’d he’d be back at 35 years old. 
“I mean, I felt really confident I was coming back,” Stafford said Monday. “I feel like more people were less confident in that than I was. But I was ready to go, ready to play as soon as I was cleared. And I feel great, I feel healthy. I’m not 25, but I definitely feel good.

Last week, Haley and Hanna Cavinder announced they would forgo their fifth and final season of college basketball eligibility at the University of Miami, choosing to start the next phase of their lives instead. Instead, the social media stars will begin training with the WWE in hopes of becoming a part of the wrestling industry.

Blue Jays reliever Anthony Bass took to Twitter on Sunday to voice his complaints over the treatment of his wife during a recent flight with United Airlines. 
In an attempt to put the airline on blast, Bass revealed that his 22-week pregnant wife was “made” to clean up the mess made by their children. In the reliever’s eyes, the airline’s “cleaning crew” should be responsible for tidying up after his child spilled their popcorn.
