Glenn Youngkin is in the March Madness spirit and it’s not even Selection Sunday yet.
With conference tournaments well underway, the Virginia Governor and rising Republican star released an apolitical ad promoting the best time of the year and all of Virginia’s major programs.
Politics aside, it’s everything we love about March Madness and has a very similar vibe to the old ESPN commercials from back before the network turned to woke garbage.

When LSU’s Pistol Pete Maravich broke Oscar Robertson’s NCAA career scoring record of 2,973 points on Saturday, Jan. 31, 1970, it was an iconic event.
About 11,000 filled LSU’s John Parker Agricultural Coliseum, which was known as the Cow Palace, but this was no crap show.

LSU superstar Pete Maravich broke Oscar Robertson’s NCAA scoring record of 2,973 points vs. Ole Miss on Jan. 31, 1970.
The game was stopped with 4:39 to play just after Maravich sank a 23-footer for his 2,975th career point and 41st of the game.

The PGA Tour’s announcement about adding eight limited-field, no-cut elevated events to next year’s schedule has received mixed reviews. While the top players on the Tour are in favor of more no-cut, guaranteed payday events, the lesser-known players don’t exactly share that same sentiment.
Ryan Armour, a one-time winner on Tour, has been a long-time member of the 16-member Player Advisory Council (PAC) and he’s not on board with the addition of no-cut elevated events. He’s even more upset about the process, or lack thereof, that the Tour implemented to come to its decision.
