The Giants get a bonafide star pass catcher, while the Raiders raise some questions
In some shocking news, the Las Vegas Raiders are trading TE Darren Waller to the New York Giants for a 2023 third round pick.

Waller signed a three-year, $51 million extension with the Raiders last offseason and could possibly want more money.

Los Angeles has decided to move on from several key players.
The Rams appear to be rebuilding their team on the fly, moving on from several key players from their Super Bowl-winning team. Los Angeles reportedly traded Jalen Ramsey to the Dolphins and released Leonard Floyd to open up cap space moving forward.
As the Rams roster continues to change, their star players will have to adjust to the change happening around them. On Tuesday, wide receiver Cooper Kupp said goodbye to his two former teammates on social media.

While the Aaron Rodgers saga drags out, Lamar Jackson has become a bit forgotten. The Baltimore Ravens gave him the non-exclusive franchise tag, meaning other teams are free to offer him a contract.
However, the Ravens would then be afforded the opportunity to match. Teams can offer Jackson a contract when the new NFL year begins on Wednesday. As I wrote previously, there’s no way that none of the 31 other teams in the NFL is interested in a former league MVP at 26 years old.

The Lakers’ star has been sidelined since late February.
LeBron James appears to be gearing up for a return to the Lakers. After Tuesday’s shootaround in New Orleans, ahead of the clash against the Pelicans, James was spotted on the court getting some shots up from the free-throw line, via ESPN’s Dave McMenamin. 
Additionally, the 38-year-old posted a cartoon photo of himself in what appears to be a cryotherapy chamber on Instagram, seemingly hinting that he’s making progress towards a return from his foot injury.
James has been sidelined since Feb.

The Cowboys hired the former LSU coach Sunday.
Days into his new job at McNeese State, former LSU coach Will Wade is already in hot water.
Wade will serve a five-game suspension to begin the 2024 season, according to a Tuesday afternoon report from the American Press in Lake Charles, La. The Cowboys hired Wade as their next coach on Sunday after going 11–23 in 2023.
Per Matthew Travis of KPLC in Lake Charles, the suspension was built into Wade’s contract, which also stipulates he cannot participate in “off-campus recruiting related activities through July 31.

Daniel Jones will have new star pass-catcher in 2023.
The Giants are finalizing a blockbuster trade with the Raiders for star tight end Darren Waller, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. 
New York will send back a third-round pick in the 2023 NFL draft—pick No. 100—to Las Vegas in the deal. The Giants acquired that pick from the trade that sent receiver Kadarius Toney to the Chiefs in the middle of last season.
A former sixth-round pick back in 2015, Waller is one of a few elite talents at the tight end position.

The former Offensive Player of the Year agreed to a re-worked contract that will keep him in New Orleans in 2023.
Wide receiver Michael Thomas is expected to return to the Saints on an incentive-laden one-year deal, as first reported by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. 
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Tuesday that New Orleans and Thomas agreed to a reworked contract that will become a one-year, $10 million deal with the potential for the 30-year-old to earn up to $15 million with incentives.

Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets have not yet been united via trade but the signs this is happen have become to glow in neon.
The Jets on Tuesday began the day trying to add Packers free agent receiver Allen Lazard, as OutKick reported. Well, the Jets are also reaching out to Packers free agents Marcedes Lewis and Randall Cobb.
And ESPN is now reporting Rodgers provided the Jets with a wish list of free agents he would like for the team to target. And all those names are on the Rodgers list.
And Odell Beckham Jr.’s name is on the list, too.

Chargers running back Austin Ekeler has been granted permission to seek a trade away from the organization, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Los Angeles and its veteran running back were reportedly unable to come to an agreement over a new contract, prompting Ekeler’s agent, Cameron Weiss, to request permission to seek a trade.
The 27-year-old is entering the final year of his contract, a four-year, $24.5 million deal he inked back in 2020. In ’23, Ekeler is slated to earn $6.
