This year’s Super Bowl matchup features a Chiefs teams that’s appeared in three of the last four big games, while the Eagles are back for the first time in five seasons. That means there will be no shortage of Super Bowl experience in Glendale on Feb. 12, even if it’s tilted more toward one sideline.
But while these players will get to enjoy the experience of playing on the game’s biggest stage, not everyone is so fortunate.

Cory Sandhagen vs. Marlon “Chito” Vera will take place at UFC Fight Night on March 25, sources close to the situation have informed Sports Illustrated.
The bantamweight bout will headline the card at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.
Sandhagen is coming off a fourth-round knockout against Song Yadong in September, while Vera enters after scoring a vicious knockout against Dominick Cruz last August.
Tyrese Haliburton, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Lauri Markkanen and Jaren Jackson Jr. were all first-time NBA All-Star selections.

The starters for the 2023 NBA All-Star Game didn’t feature many surprises. We always knew a superstar was going to have to come off the bench in the Eastern Conference because of the league’s weird positional mandates, and that ended up being Joel Embiid. While Zion Williamson’s nod as a starter was a bit surprising given his injury issues, the rest of the selections were full of deserving and familiar faces among the league’s best players.
The running back allegedly pointed a gun at a woman, according to court documents.
An arrest warrant was issued on Thursday for Bengals running back Joe Mixon in regards to an aggravated menacing account that occurred on Jan. 21, according to court records in Hamilton County in Ohio.
Mixon allegedly pointed a gun at a woman and said, “You should be popped in the face. I should shoot you now. The police can’t get me,” per Fox 19 Now in Cincinnati.
The Bengals released a statement on Thursday regarding the incident.

Star64 Cincinnati reporter Chris Renkel additionally reported that Mixon pointed a gun at a woman and threatened her in downtown Cincinnati.

The ACC coach is the only active coach in the College Football Hall of Fame.
North Carolina announced a one-year contract extension for football coach Mack Brown on Wednesday.
Brown’s contract now is in place for five more seasons, running through 2028. The legendary coach has been with the program since the start of the 2019 season. Before that, he coached UNC from 1988–97.
Before returning to UNC, Brown was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2018. He’s the only active coach in the country who is a member of the Hall of Fame.
