This postseason has had a prevailing subplot in Victor Wembanyama’s ascent— not only as the 22-year-old cements himself as the face of the NBA, but also how the young superstar is trying to find his edge on the court. That manifested itself with an elbow to Naz Reid against the Timberwolves, and reared its head once more on Monday night against the Knicks.
Wemby was jostling with Jalen Brunson at the top of the key, and decided to throw him to the ground like he was nothing.

If the first game of the series between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Athletics at Las Vegas Ballpark in Las Vegas, Nevada, was any indication, fans of both teams (and baseball in general) are in for a wild ride the rest of the way.

On Monday, Milwaukee and the A’s went at it like two gladiators, each refusing to lose. But when it was all said and done and after what seems like a ton of home runs, the Brewers came out on top with a 15-14 victory.

That series opener broke the record for the most runs scored in a game so far in the 2026 MLB season.

With the shocking news last Friday that Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin wants out of the Motor City, there was suddenly another potential intriguing trade target for the Chicago Blackhawks to pursue this summer.
Larkin is plenty familiar with Blackhawks head coach Jeff Blashill, as he spent the first seven years of his NHL career playing for him. His old Red Wings teammate, Tyler Bertuzzi, also has two more years under contract with the Blackhawks.

Longtime Columbus sports broadcaster Dom Tiberi is stepping away from his full-time role at 10TV WBNS after 45 years with the station.
Tiberi announced the decision in a June 9 story on 10TV, where he reflected on a career spent covering some of central Ohio’s biggest sports moments and personalities.
The veteran sportscaster said he is not fully retiring and will continue leading 10TV’s Ohio State football coverage when the season begins this fall.
