Teams will look to get through their respective regions before vying for a Final Four at the Paradise Coast Sports Complex in Naples from May 7-9. South Florida and the Orlando area have reigned supreme for quite some time, dominating the state. Can Southwest Florida break through this year?

The scheduled kickoff had to be quickly forgotten, as fans from both sides set off plenty of pyrotechnics, and shortly afterward the stadium was so full of smoke that clear visibility could no longer be guaranteed.

Everyone in the NFL makes a lot of money but sometimes the contract a player gets screams game-changer. We have that on Friday with Houston Texans edge rusher Will Anderson Jr.
Anderson has agreed to a three-year contract extension worth $150 million that includes a reported $100 million fully guaranteed, OutKick has confirmed. 
NFL Network was first to report the deal.
And it is a blockbuster.
The extension obviously averages out to $50 million per season on an annual average basis and that makes Anderson Jr.

The Illinois Fighting Illini reached the Final Four of the 2026 men’s NCAA tournament for the first time since 2005. Illinois ended up losing a tight game to the UConn Huskies before Michigan cut down the nets in the national championship game. Most programs as successful as Illinois was this past season are scrambling right now to replace the loss of key players to the NBA Draft or the transfer portal. The Illini are the exception, and it’s setting them up for another big year next season.
