Ja’Sir Taylor was one of those overlooked sign ings for the Cincinnati Bengals this offseason. 
Now, Taylor is an OTA standout. 
The veteran cornerback has made some noise for himself this week by getting some first-team reps alongside the likes of Bryan Cook and Jordan Battle. 
Taylor happens to be making plays, too, including deflecting a Joe Burrow pass at one point, according to CLNS Media’s Mike Petraglia. 
We’ll see if it translates to training camp and then meaningful playing time.

Tennessee women’s tennis player Leyla Britez Risso was named as the ITA’s most improved player from the Ohio Valley region.
Britez Risso, a senior for the Lady Vols, received the honor on Tuesday. She is the fifth player in program history to receive the award. All five Lady Vols to earn the award have played for head coach Alison Ojeda.
“Leyla is an incredible example of what improvement looks like, and she’s done so while competing at the highest level of college tennis,” Ojeda said. “We are very proud of her.

The accolades continue for Nebraska baseball with two players earning All-Central Region honors from the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings on Tuesday. Right-handed pitcher Carson Jasa made first-team All-Central Region, and shortstop Dylan Carey received second-team accolades, becoming the fifth and sixth players to make all-region selections under head coach Will Bolt.
